UK favourite Hannah Holland's new album on PRAH Recordings merges her film composing background with music. Inspired by iconic queer arthouse cinema, Last Exit On Bethnal serves as a soundtrack to a fantasy club underworld. The record features seductive, sleazy guitars blending with relentless 707 drum machines, ever-evolving arps and Lynchian, dreamlike atmospheres. Created alongside the music film of the same name, directed by Lydia Garnett, this project is an unapologetic and poetic exploration of, says the artist, "dyke power and sexuality within a mythic nightlife setting."
