1x Vinyl LP Album Reissue Remastered

Release date: Jun 14, 2025, France

A Lost Spiritual Gospel Funk Masterpiece from 1982 — Available for the First Time Ever on Vinyl

We are proud to present the first-ever official reissue of an extraordinary and long-lost gem from the Republic of Congo: Les Nkenda — a deeply spiritual, genre-defying album originally released in 1982 by the religious collective of the Cercle Biblique Évangélique (C.B.E.) of Pointe-Noire, and produced by Adam Julien Koubemba on the now-legendary Adamsol Record Edition label.

Originally pressed in tiny quantities and virtually impossible to find today, this record has long been considered a “holy grail” among African music collectors. Now, more than four decades later, it returns in its full glory — fully remastered from the original tapes and available on vinyl for the very first time since its initial release.

This is not just a reissue — it is a revelation.

Les Nkenda is a one-of-a-kind fusion of gospel fervor, psychedelic groove, folk storytelling, soulful funk, and Afro-Latin rhythms. Recorded in Pointe-Noire — the economic heart of Congo — the album captures an unfiltered and raw energy that reflects the social, spiritual, and musical heartbeat of 1980s Congo.

The group’s members, hailing from diverse regions of the country, blend multilingual vocals with rich, polyrhythmic textures, weaving together a vibrant sonic tapestry that is as soul-stirring as it is hypnotic. There’s an undeniable sense of urgency and transcendence in these tracks — music that moves between the sacred and the street, the traditional and the experimental.

This is music made without compromise, filled with rare spontaneity and deep emotion. Once forgotten, it is now revived for new generations of listeners — collectors, crate diggers, and seekers of the truly special.

Don’t miss your chance to own this beautifully restored reissue. Orders are now open — secure your copy before it disappears again.
