Roots Unity gets us to 'Rise Above' with the aid of some reggae enlightenment on this new and crucial 7". The a-side original version features Aba Ariginals and has a fleshy bassline wiggling to and fro with some warrior horn leads up top in a call-and-response style arrangement. Add in some neat guitar riffs for extra earthy vibes and you have a stone cold classic. On the flip is the version which is stripped back and allows the bass plucks and endless amounts of echo and reverb to really make their mark.
