Prepare to sink way under the surface with this devilishly deep and minimal new dub cut from Frenk Dublin on the Dutch label Dub Communication. 'Fire Just A Shot' is superbly slow, which gives plenty of room for the rolling drums to sink in and space for the echoing hits to ricochet about the mix. Up top are conscious, anti-war lyrics from Tenor Youthman adding extra meaning to this already heady cut. Flip it over ad you'll get the Om Unit remix which is only slightly more propulsive, and a little busier with the scuffed metal percussion that fills some of the spaces.
