For the last few years Dende Sound has been developing a studio and sound system project in The Gambia working with some fantastic DJs and artists and today, we are excited to announce our second vinyl release featuring Saah Karim entitled ‘Oh Why?’.

The song is an emotional plea to world leaders, asking why we are still in this state of corruption and greed fuelling global atrocities and suffering. It is an empowering cry for an alternative narrative, a wakeup call, and a warning for all.

Saah Karim lays down his hard-hitting message over Bambaman’s heavyweight riddim ready to mash up any sound system dance. Baodub from Spain takes us on an outanational dubwise journey in the versions while the B side features Bambaman’s own melodica cut and further dubwise excursions.

The tune has been beautifully mastered by Dub Creator from Netherlands and so this is truly an international collaboration calling out the Babylon system and dreaming of a better world created together.
