2x Vinyl LP Album Stereo

Release date: Apr 19, 2024, France

SOFA RECORDS is reissuing Myriam Gendron's second album, "Ma Délire – Songs of Lost and Found," initially released in 2021.

This double album, a rare contemporary folk gem, beautifully bridges the gap between ancestral repertoire and avant-garde contemporary rock. Myriam Gendron revisits both North American folk standards (notably John Jacob Niles) as well as performs original compositions. From light ballads to the darkest folk songs, she creates a unique sonic universe as sublime as it is heartbreaking. Her acoustic guitar, sometimes electrified, coexists with a Moog, a harmonium, Bill Nace's noise manipulations, her own field recordings and her voice — so moving in its simplicity.

To be placed alongside Karen Dalton, Kris Kristofferson, Bill Callahan.

Produced by Eric Villeneuve and mastered by Harris Newmann, this record was released by Feeding Tube Records for the North American market and Les Ateliers Claus for Europe.
