Deep System / Morose

Morose is an Italian DJ and producer now based in London, and Deep System is an unknown artist who had only two EPs out in the mid 90s.. Now they are reunited on the newly minted Mineral label as two of their choice cuts get welcome reissues. Deep System's 'Radarscope' has aged perfectly well. It's a turbocharged bit of electronic funk with elements of OG tech house, trance-y keys and warm house basslines. Drop this one and watch the floor go up a notch. Morose's 'Holy Ghost' is a speedy bit of deep house with a cosmic atmosphere and scraping hits that keep your head nodding for the duration. Super stuff.
