Rolling out with heavyweight roots and dub credentials, this 12" sees Mike Brooks team up with Shalom on a set of UK-recorded riddims with Mafia and Fluxy and Tony Ruffcutt. 'Don't Worry' kicks things off with soulful conviction and clean digital synths, and is followed by Mike's 'Hold Fast', which is roomy, heady, unhurried. The B side revisits Shalom's 'Value Yourself' with an Alt mix underpinned by aquatic bass and it comes alongside Brooks' 'River Nile' - another deep dub with conscious weight. Classic reggae sensibilities and let both vocal and instrumental tracks breathe while hitting hard for selectors in the low end.
