Sault are back! The mysterious troupe return with their signature hybrid of funk, dance, post-punk and soul release on double Lp vinyle album

Sault are back! The mysterious troupe return with their signature hybrid of funk, dance, post-punk and soul. 'Untitled' is, without a doubt, their finest work to date, including a guest from Michael Kiwanuka. Incredible album - don't miss!

Un poing levé sur fond noir pour couverture. Un titre d’album qui refuse d’en être véritablement un. Et dès les premières secondes d’écoute, le choc des mots avec la répétition saisissante des deux phrases “The revolution has come (out the lies!) / Still won’t put down the gun (out the lies!)”, scandées a cappella et de plus en plus fort, jusqu’au cri de rage, viscéral, que viennent brusquement interrompre un piano délicat et le manifeste terrassant de beauté : “Black is safety / Black is benevolence / Black is a lifeboat after an SOS / Breaker breaker all clear / Black tells you it’s going to be okay in the end / Black is granny / Black is aunty / Black is there’s still meat on that bone little girl / Am I eating wrong? / Black is so warm and so pure / And when everything else fails / Black endures”.

Detroit's Ali Berger returns to FatCat Records' sub-label FCR with a follow up release entitled 'Keys The Door EP2'.After his 'Keys The Door EP1' that picked up support from the likes of Ben UFO, Artwork, Huerco S and Machine Woman, Michigan's Ali Berger returns to the FatCat Records off-shoot FCR which features releases from Cottam, DJJ and Project 223. Ali's previous releases on Clave House, Firm Tracks and Isaiah Tapes reflect his keen ear for slick, stripped back house productions that's gained the attention worldwide resulting in him being signed to FatCat and regularly featuring in clubs all over the US.'Grease Trap' kicks things off with a wavering acid line, robust melodies and outlandish oscillations before 'Heard' drops low-slung bass grooves, emotive leads and rhythmic tombs reminiscent of early Larry Heard productions. 'Hit Piece' introduces eccentric synth shoots, bubbling percussion and glistening rhythms until 'Keys The Door' rounds things off with a cheerful house cut fusing dreamy piano chords and a stimulating drum sequence.
Little Sister of Brother From Different Mothers, HSS is introducing you to a strictly limited tape mixed by Judaah and DJ Tarba. While Judaah is well-known for his outrageous rhum drinking skills and his love for crackling dancehall 7’’ , BFDM affiliate DJ Tarba is bringing Junglism monthly on LYL Radio with his Strike A Posse show (he’s also quite good in rhum drinking).« Songs Harder Than My Mother’s Belt » hits definitely hard - two mixtapes to get lost in dancehall, hardcore, breaks, and rhum madness
