Publié à l'origine en 1997, Princesse Mononoke explore les problèmes environnementaux à travers une querelle épique entre les dieux de la forêt et une communauté minière.

Parallèlement aux versions Soundtrack Album et Symphonic Suite, Studio Ghibli Records présente également la version Image Album en vinyle, enregistrée avant la bande originale officielle, basée sur les notes du légendaire réalisateur Hayao Miyazaki et composée par Joe Hisaishi.

Originally released in 1997, Princess Mononoke explored environmental issues through an epic feud between forest gods and a mining community.

Alongside the Soundtrack and Symphonic albums, Studio Ghibli is also releasing the Image Album, which was recorded before the official soundtrack, based on legendary director Hayao Miyazaki’s notes and composed by Joe Hisaishi.

Washington, who joined the project in its embryonic stages, provides the powerful musical backdrop.
